		<description>Again, thank you for some helpful notes as I seek to unpack Rom 4. I&#039;m drawn by the words &quot; as good as dead&quot; in v19. How do we go on believing that God is still soveriegn even in the cul-de-sacs of life? Of course Abraham did not believe and obey instantly - he messed up and tried to find his own way of getting that son and hier. And Peter was so struck by Jesus speaking of his suffering and death that his ears then failed to hear about what would happen on the third day....</description>
